About me:  Lloyd K Williams.

I am a teacher, photographer and writer.  Born in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, my family travelled the country, following my father’s banking career and, eventually, settling in bayside Melbourne. I now live in a forest setting near Daylesford, Victoria.

From working in the Australian Public Service, I moved into teaching, mainly in the primary and special education sectors.

From a young age, I’ve had a natural inclination to record the world around me in pictures and words – framing and preserving time – hence the name for this website.

This site will focus on my photography. I’m never sure what will attract my eye and impel me to point my camera towards a particular object or scene, (although I have to admit to a particular love of trees!). Consequently, I present a broad range of subjects here. There could be a common thread that links them, although I’m yet to precisely define it – possibly a fascination with  natural and human forms, their connection and how they change over time.

Should any particular photo attract your eye and you would love to see it hanging in your home or workplace, connect with me through the ‘contact’ page or send me an email, letting me know how you would like the image presented (printed on canvas, paper, framed or unframed and approximate size) and I will forward a quote as quickly as possible.

I hope you enjoy viewing the world through my mind and my camera’s eye.
